To all my producers/beatmakers using spots like Soundclick and others to sell your beats . . . . those sites are tools. If you're not making sales, this is why. Their intention was to get you to upload your material and advertise them. That's what you did. Realize that you are in a melting pot of other beatmakers and may never stand out because everyone's jocking for position. They don't and won't ever advertise you. Get your own blog or dot com and advertise it with the players those sites provided. Develop a fanbase; otherwise you won't have anyone to sell to. Use forums with rappers looking for beats. That is where you will find your clients. Hope that helps someone.
